As a Program Manager IT, you will be aligned to one of the following Capability Product Groups (CPG) Claims and Payments, Provider Networks, or Product Development Marketing and Sales (PDMS). In this role you are responsible for the successful implementation of enterprise-wide initiatives, technology systems, and/or programs. You will coordinate with key business and technical leaders across multiple departments to drive strategic alignment of the individual program tracks, assisting teams in defining, tracking, and attaining critical success measures, and assisting in the design and startup of the program deliverables. What you'll do:
Provide leadership for large-scale enterprise-wide initiatives, projects and programs through integration of the efforts of the Program Management Office (PMO), IT, Operations, and Business Process Segment Managers and their respective project teams Advises senior leadership on the project or initiative planning, tracking and implementation of key enterprise-wide strategic initiatives that include both business and system related aspects Oversee all project activities and phases; responsible for program roadmap including definition, development, management of the budgets and oversees project plans for all projects identified by senior management Lead project governance and the change control processes to ensure that project budget, schedule, and scope are maintained within the approved project baselines Collaborate with other project leads across Premera to synchronize work plans and resources and minimize conflicts across the multiple in-flight projects Clearly articulate project status, risks, and outlook to appropriate leadership Provide assistance, direction and/or mentorship to project managers within and outside of the PMO to ensure stated project activities and objectives are successfully accomplished Ensures assigned projects deliver value to Premera by identifying and tracking tangible benefits and measurable outcomes Manages vendor selection process, monitors vendor performance and tracks deliverables for system solutions and staff augmentation Establishes project team participants; coordinates team activities and schedules, provides feedback to line managers on team member's performance Ensure successful transition of work and responsibilities to the appropriate teams (operations, IT, business, etc.) as part of the project close-out activities Understands and ensures appropriate system development lifecycle applied to project work Responsible for the security of sensitive data, including integrity, availability, and confidentiality, as required by the job function What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or technology systems or related field or 4 years' work experience (required) 7 years of project management experience (required) Solid background and/or understanding of healthcare trends and technologies LEAN or similar training/certification preferred
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Program ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
