Director, Strategic Development at Premera Blue Cross in Mountlake Terrace, WA
The Director of Strategic Development will support senior management team by directing efforts to develop and set corporate strategies. In this role, you will work directly with executives and senior management to set annual and long-term strategic focus, support agenda planning for Board of Director Meetings, and facilitate off-sites. This position interacts with all levels of senior management throughout to determine annual and long-term goals. An aspect of this job may include presentations in front of and significant exposure to Board of Directors. This position reports to the VP of Enterprise Strategy. What you will do:
Develop and maintain corporate strategic plan. Lead the collection of and analysis of market trends and significant environmental developments. Integrate, frame, and facilitate strategic discussions and decisions by synthesizing market trends, legislative trends, and competitor activity. Be a thought partner and provide direct assistance to the VP of Enterprise Strategy and the Senior Management Group for ad hoc projects. Lead and develop the strategy team's capabilities to respond to executive requests for consulting services on a wide variety of topics. Develop effective relationships at all company levels, including senior and executive management. Responsible for the planning and coordination to set, facilitate and maintain Executive Leadership Team and Senior Leadership Team agendas Develop, coordinate, and facilitate multiple executive off-sites Support, coordinate and develop presentations for Board of Directors and manage Board agenda. Coordinate effectively with strategy management to drive integration of strategy development and strategy execution Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or four years of work experience. Five years of management level experience with responsibility for strategic planning, financial planning, or business development. Healthcare industry experience is preferred; experience working within a healthcare plan is a plus.
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
