Project Coordinator

This person will support the Risk Adjustment and Quality teams.
(Risk adjustment uses patient level diagnostic data to understand the disease burden of a population and predict medical and pharmaceutical spending.
Quality uses widely accepted care metrics to understand whether members are receiving timely and clinically indicated care.
) Position Description.
This position provides clerical /administrative support in a team collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities include follow-through on planned tasks or activities, involving tracking, documentation, distribution, facilitation and communication.
The candidate will work with approximately 5 vendors to gather, track and log data from the vendor tool and run reports on provider escalation issues.
This reporting will be used for other members of the team for call resolution.
The candidate will also use tools (e.
g.
; Facets, web browsers, etc.
) to research member and provider demographic data.
Candidate must have:
Excellent excel skills, and skilled in operating in a windows environment.
Ability to quickly learn and understand new systems and healthcare terminology.
Proven organization skills to multitask while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
