Consultant / Sr Consultant - Environmental Health & Safety / Asbestos

The successful candidates should have experience in industrial hygiene and safety consulting including assessment of asbestos, lead, microbial agents; as well as indoor air quality assessments or other industrial hygiene investigations. Experience in healthcare settings is a plus. This can include asbestos, lead, microbiological inspections, infection control investigations, exposure monitoring and sampling.

This Consultant or Senior Consultant will be responsible for managing all aspects of asbestos, lead, mold and/or other industrial hygiene projects including conversing with potential and existing clients; proposal generation, managing project budgets and generating final reports and remediation specifications and providing technical quality review of asbestos, lead and microbial reports. The successful candidate should be able to achieve billable revenue target as set by the company and maintain client relationships with existing clients to grow customer base. Additional responsibilities include performing on-site surveys, inspections, assessments, abatement oversight and monitoring and auditing of safety procedures and applicable regulations associated with industrial hygiene and environmental projects.


  • Working knowledge of industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety concepts, and the use of common IEQ field instruments with valid certifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager and/or experience successfully managing large and complex projects in at least one area of our service lines offered

  • Certified Industrial Hygienist preferred

  • NIOSH 582 or equivalent required

  • BA in industrial hygiene, health and safety, biological or physical science is preferred

  • Ability to develop and sustain customer relationships

  • General knowledge of EHS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to gather and organize data from multiple sources

  • Ability to plan and implement projects

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
