Our Facility Service Line is seeking senior professional with experience providing equity level Property Condition Assessments in accordance with ASTM E2018 and Facility Condition Assessments utilizing electronic field data collection software and devices. Our ideal candidate will specialize in building assessments, identifying deficiencies, and recommending repairs with associated cost. Experience with Facility Asset Management, Preventive Maintenance, Energy Auditing, Owner/Lender Construction representation, as well as, specialized credentials or knowledge of any building system, such as, Building Envelope, MEP, Fire and Life Safety, and ADA/FHAA is a plus. The purpose of this position is to support existing clients and the growth of Terracon's national Facilities Consulting Practice. Applicant must be able to use Microsoft Office software products, travel, physically perform necessary field site visits, and have strong writing and communication skills.
You will also:
Participate on and lead teams in the performance of various facility assessments
Prepare and review technical reports and participate in the development of other technical content in conformance with Terracon's quality and professional standards and policies.
Participate in business development including establishing new clients, furthering relationships with existing clients, participating in professional organizations, and actively participating in the implementation of marketing strategies.
Project management including establishing project teams, objectives, schedules, project-specific safety plans, and management of project deliverables.
Develop scopes of service, establish project budgets, prepare proposals, and participate in client presentations.
Supervise and mentor other project professionals
Actively participate in technical and professional associations.
Some travel should be expected depending on work load and project locations approximately 33%
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years' experience in assessments.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, facility management, or construction-related industry In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 14 years' related experience.
Master's degree preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
