Database Administrator III - IT Infrastructure

As a, Database Administrator III What you'll do Drive the design, architecture and implementation of new database solutions as the business transitions from RDMSto the Cloud based platforms Analyze business requirements and design database solutions Perform as a subject matter expert for databases in use at Premera, as well as remain knowledgeable in leading industry trends and technologies for RDMS, Big Data and related data related technologies Build strong relationships at all levels of the organization (i.e. peers and leaders) What you'll bring Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related area of study or equivalent work experience 5years of IT related engineering experience working on relational databases Understanding of Big Data and data life cycle management (MDM /RDM) concept in designing and building engineering solutions to meet different business requirements Deep industry experience with Microsoft SQL as Sr. DBA Experience with Windows Cluster, SQL Server Clustering, SQL Always-On, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS; Strong interpersonal and communications skills; ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to a non-technical audience at all levels of the organization (including oral presentations) Strong desire to collaborate and work as a team player Provide 24/7 support for on-call shifts What we offer Premera is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, vision and dental coverage Life and disability insurance Retirement programs (401K employer match and pension plan) Wellness incentives, onsite services, a discount program and more Tuition assistance for undergraduate and graduate degrees Generous Paid Time Off to reenergize Free parking Job ID 11655

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
